The Golf Academy

The Steve Russell Golf Academy is based at Bridgnorth Golf Club, on the banks of the River Severn in Shropshire's infamous Severn Valley. The idyllic setting together with Bridgnorth Golf Club's extensive practise facilities to include large practise ground, short game area and putting green, provide the perfect setting to improve your game

Everyone can benefit from Steve Russell's wealth of knowledge. With over 25 years experience as PGA Qualified Golf Professional, I having coached and competed in events at the highest level and through the continuous study of golfing techniques, I can help you reach your full golfing potential.

The vital part of understanding your golf game is to understand the cause and effect of your swing. At the Steve Russell Golf Academy the fault-finding techniques used allow us to detect the original and most destructive faults in your swing (the root cause).Through explanation and demonstration the related effects can be rectified.

Routine and repetition is the key to learning and improving your game. A structured practice programme will be put in place to suit your individual needs.

Personal Coaching Programme
Every golfer is different. An individually tailored coaching programme will be devised covering all aspects of the game. With a well thought-out plan put into place you will be able to maximize your learning.
